Marango is our Italian supply chain project, born from the cross between a pure Black Angus and Friesian and Maremmana mares. Each head grows in the wild and follows a certified “Marango Fioc” diet, which guarantees the welfare of the animals and gives them an excellent level of marbling, so the meat is fat, savory and tender at the same time. The result? A meat with a mineral taste typical of the Maremmana combined with the representative sweetness of Angus.
Minced meat is a type of meat obtained by grinding Marango meat. It is a versatile and very popular cut of meat, widely used in cooking to prepare a variety of dishes, including meatballs, burgers, chili, lasagna, tacos, spaghetti bolognese and many others. Marango meat gives a rich and fleshy flavor to the dish in which it is used.
